This Spring term, we have been focusing on Light.  Our tasks have included ‘How we see’, creating a device to see around corners, ‘Shadow formation’, a shadow size investigation, refraction and splitting white light with a prism. 

  • Children showing a drawing about how we see the light
  • A child holding a torch that is pointed at a whiteboard to see the shadow
  • Children measuring how big the shadow is on the whiteboard
  • Children investigate how light works with water
